HOVVER is an art studio that creates immersive light and sound installations, that delve into the unseen forces shaping our perception of reality. Now led solely by Brooklyn based artist Lua Brice, whos practice celebrates the interconnected nature of light, sound, and space. Lua's foundation in both architecture and their committed spiritual practice serves as a lens for crafting installations that expand ones understanding of form, light and perception.
Through play, experimentation, and a highly refined aesthetic consideration, Hovver invites viewers on profound sensory journeys, encouraging them to explore the hidden threads that shape ontological understandings of the world. With a focus on fostering participant engagement, Hovver creates moments of introspection and transcendence, illuminating the intricacies of existence and inspiring audiences to view reality through a new lens.
Hovver was initiated as a collaboration between Lua Brice and Chris Lunney in 2014 and jointly run till 2020. With gratitude for Chris’s contribution, Hovver is now solely directed by Lua who continues to evolve and share the practice.
